Descent is a tight, elegant stacking game invented by Rey Alicea 2013. Chessicals doesn't support stacking games as such, so we let the various unit types represent the different stack heights (just like in Murus Gallicus).
Every turn the players will dig part of the board away, making the game move relentlessly towards the inevitable finale. This also means an interesting parallell to Fantasy Flight's epic dungeon crawler of the same name - just like in that game, you control a party of heroes travelling ever deeper into the dark...
