Sapos rules

Sapos is played on a 8×8 board with the following setup:

Each player has 4 on the board and 12 in reserve.

Players take turn to perform any number of these commands:

  • a over an orthodiagonally adjacent friend into an empty square.
  • a over an orthogonally adjacent enemy into an empty square, capturing the jumped enemy into your reserve.
  • a from your reserve in an empty square orthodiagonally adjacent to the last

There are some rules for the flow of a turn:

  • You will only ever and with a single during your turn
  • If you have a 2x2 formation of at the start of your turn, you must move with one of those
