Tobito rules

Tobito is played on a 5×3 board with one of the following setups:

Regular setup to the left, variant with neutral runner to the right.

Players take turn to one of their , through either...

  • stepping to an adjacent empty space
  • jumping over any number of units in a straight line into an empty space

Diagonals are allowed for both kinds of movement.

If you jump over oppent you must them to any empty square.

When using the neutral variant you must also when you jump it, but it may never be placed in either home row.

A that reaches the enemy base turns into and can no longer be moved or jumped.

At the end of your turn, two conditions are checked:

  • fullbase If all squares in your home base are occupied, you lose!
  • invasion If all your have turned into , you win!
